Most demonstrators when showing how to chop ice add water then turn the machine over and there is a pile of slushy all chopped up ice and the water drains away. You could try this and spoon it? But no, it isn't going to make ice "chips" - just snow :-)I just tried it in the wet and the dry blades. Both made snow, but the snow in the dry blade was of a different consistency (and I can't describe it with words :-)
