Guest guest
Hi JIm, That's a very interesting news. The progress of the case would be especially interesting. I wish someone knows about the case. TC Yes, I would like to know " Jim " <jjmcf@...> on 04/30/99 04:34:32 PM Please respond to onelist onelist cc: (bcc: Tse Chao/JerseyCity/iNautix) Subject: High SATs From: " Jim " <jjmcf@...> There is a current Federal Court case in Boston regarding a disabled student attending Academy [i believe]. He has been unable to complete assignments but while still able to score very high on his SATs. He was dismissed from the school, and his family is suing to have him re-instated. There was an article in the Wall Street Journal over a month ago. Perhaps someone saw it or can find a reference to the status of the case. Guest guest
Hi all, I'm in the Boston area and am somewhat familiar with the case at Academy. The case was lost by the student's family. The student we are referring to had ADD.
Guest guest
Thanks for your response. Do you remember if there was any precedent setting decision abut the disability of ADD itself? Or if the Court dealt mainly with the student as an individual?
