Guest guest
Tonight's dinner: 1 cooked sweet potato (-skin) 1.5 cups homemade yogurt 3 Tablespoons real maple syrup (from an organic farm, no sugar added) 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon vanilla All blended together. This is so good! No brown sugar and I still feel like I'm cheating! I should have topped it with pecans from my tree. I also think this would be good as ice cream. ~katrat

Guest guest
Sounds good, but wonder if one could cut the amount of maple syrup and still get a yummy mix. 3TBS is about 120 additional calories. I might try it with two, and maybe some stevia if it needs more sweetening, as long as the maple syrup flavor still comes through.Ginny From: Kat Rat <katratvet@...> Sent: Monday, February 6, 2012 4:07 PM Subject: Sweet Potato Smoothie Tonight's dinner: 1 cooked sweet potato (-skin) 1.5 cups homemade yogurt 3 Tablespoons real maple syrup (from an organic farm, no sugar added) 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon ginger 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves 1/2 teaspoon vanilla All blended together. Guest guest
I don't mind at all. But it is not raw. I didn't have a vitamix yet. I will make one raw now that my vitamix is here and see how it is. ~katrat > > Kat Rat if you don't mind I'd like to post this on raw bliss with your name. > Marsha
Guest guest
Thank you! We post recipes there that aren’t totally raw. There are few high raw people. The only thing I’m completely raw at is desserts. From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Kat RatSent: Friday, February 10, 2012 8:40 AM Subject: Re: Sweet Potato Smoothie I don't mind at all.
