I just received some liquid silk that I ordered for use in a lotion.

Somebody mentioned that it was used in soap.

How much do you add per lb of oils and when do you add it? I know that if

you are using silk fibers you add it with the lye.

And can the liquid silk be used with Melt and Pour?

Thanks!

Adding silk to your soaps and lotions makes them " silky " and luscious. I

have read that the amino acids/protiens are good for your skin and can

penetrate cuticle/hair follicles. Angie, at The Herbarie has some info about

it.
