I have liquid silk here and want to use it to help make a very rich bar of soap . what do I do with it? how much do I add and when ? 2. I am looking for the scent of white musk from the body shop. Anyone have this scent or what you need to get a close duplication?? thanks and have a wonderful day everyone. Huggs & Smiles, Bev

Hi Bev~ I don't know if anyone answered this or not but I will share my experience and maybe I'll end up with some advice too! ) I have used liquid silk several times in cp soap (experimenting), but every time but one the soap turned out having small scrubby, orangish spots (NOT DOS). I have had a better time using silk fibers: I cut a small amount up (maybe the size of your pinky fingernail), and put it in the water and then add the lye. Stir. With this method, I have had no need to strain. The soap turns out nice and silky and no scrubby orange spots. I would be interested in hearing others opinions. And has anyone successfully used silk in a gm base soap? Blessings ~ Tammy Gladheart Acres
