Guest guest
hi all, I attempted to make almond butter. I used 3 cups almonds and put the VM to high. The result was grainy and not creamy at all. Should I have added oil? Should I have blended longer? The problem though is that it was hot when I turned off the VM. Also, can I put the grainy chopped almonds back in the VM? Kuby
Guest guest
Yikes, I'm answering my own question.... but here goes I read Lea Ann's post in Files on nut butters. I had put the gritty almond butter in a container, so I put it back in the VM and pushed down on the 4 sides like she suggested. My Almond butter is now so creamy!! Thanks Lea Ann! > > hi all, > > I attempted to make almond butter. I used 3 cups almonds and put the VM to high. The result was grainy and not creamy at all. Should I have added oil?
