This topic comes up fairly often, but it is EASY to reduce the noise by just placing the base on a neoprene computer mousepad or even a dish towel. The boxes that are used on TV demos are hard to come by. I find the mousepad reduces the noise dramatically. I am looking for green smoothies low in sugar and calories as my husband was just diagnosed with diabetes... any suggestions?

Same here. I am not finding many green smoothie recipes which I am also loving with low sugar content. I am simply reducing the amounts of fruits used but I'd like to find more low glycemic green smoothie recipes. I have now had my Vita-mix for one week or so. Having two granddaughters that are Type 1 diabetics I look for recipes that include the nutritional information because having the carbs information is paramount.  While many green smoothies are fine, it is easy to overdue the fruits causing spikes in your sugar.  Search Diabetic Smoothie recipes for some ideas.
