Guest guest
I L-O-V-E my green smoothies! I have had one everyday since I got mine Jan 16! The more you drink them the less you notice the "green" Patti From: Carol <cdj53@...> " " < > Sent: Thursday, February 23, 2012 8:30 AM Subject: Re: Re: silence box for vitamix I just received my Vitamix 5200 yesterday. I made my first green smoothie today from the cook book ... is it really suppose to taste this good???? The boxes that are used on TV demos are hard to come by. I find the mousepad reduces the noise dramatically. When I make soup (which is about the only thing that requires a long running time), I just leave the room and let it do its thing.>> Hello,> Would like to know if you know where I can purchase a silence box for my vitamix, it's kind of ironic how healthy I try to eat when the noise of it will probably make me deaf at the end. Guest guest
Same here. I am not finding many green smoothie recipes which I am also loving with low sugar content. I am simply reducing the amounts of fruits used but I'd like to find more low glycemic green smoothie recipes. I have now had my Vita-mix for one week or so. Guest guest
Having two granddaughters that are Type 1 diabetics I look for recipes that include the nutritional information because having the carbs information is paramount. While many green smoothies are fine, it is easy to overdue the fruits causing spikes in your sugar.  Search Diabetic Smoothie recipes for some ideas.
