OK, I havn't tried beets since I was a kid. Didn't like them then, so I have

stayed away. With this recipe and other times you've mentioned them, I guess

I'm gonna have to buy one! HA!

You used the beet raw, correct?

Yes - raw and peeled. With the White Grape Juice Concentrate, the beet taste is so covered up that you won't notice it. With my "Just Beet Smoothie" (in the links under recipes - smoothies) you will notice the taste of beet more, but now, as an adult, you might be able to tolerate it better :-)

Do you have any alternatives to the grape juice? I can't get it where I live :(

Debbie

I'm with you on that. I don't like the pickled beets but maybe this will be OK.

How about buying it online - it stores practically forever in the freezer.

You can get it off of the link I provided - that was Walmart Online.
