Guest guest
Try using a worn dish towel or wash cloth in the strainer. You could also fold the cheese cloth several times and use it laying over the strainer. A

Guest guest
You can do a lot of things with the pulp! You can make " raw bars " by blending the pulp with a scoop of plain yogurt a little agave nectar or honey, and some cocoa powder, seeds, berries, or whatever else you want. Roll it all up in wax or parchment paper like slice and bake cookies. Freeze the " log " until just firm enough to slice. You can then eat the rounds " as is " , or dehydrate them to make them drier. I keep them in my freezer, and toss them in my purse when I go out-they are thawed enough to eat by the time I want them. You can also use the pulp in baked goods, such as bread or muffins, or add some to stews, soups, sauces, etc. I often freeze pulp in a little veggie stock and freeze it into cubes to have on hand to toss in something when I want extra flavor. > > > > Try using a worn dish towel or wash cloth in the strainer. > > You could also fold the cheese cloth several times and use it laying over the strainer. > > A > > >
Guest guest
I like the log idea My son will love them! I am trying to do smoothies only, 6 days per week for a couple of months but not sure I will make it LOL If I cave, maybe a slice or two of one of those bars will calm the beast . Thanks for the idea, Sherri
