Guest guest
Hi Louis: Thanks for your good wishes for the summer. Steve is already out of school as of last Wednesday. Unfortunately this has not yet turned into a reduction in stress but rather his OCD has been waning a bit. Changing from the routine of school to being at home (where generally his OCD is harder to control) with little structure has highlighted the chronic inflexibility which plagues him. We are adjusting to this and I hope we are wise to send him off with his older brother to visit with relatives in the Bay area next Friday. Last year I canceled this trip as far too risky and I hope I am not relying too much on his improvement and expecting more than is reasonable. Certainly this last school year was such an incredible improvement on the hell of the year before it is hard not to be pretty optimistic. Good luck to everyone during the summer, take care, aloha, Kathy (Ha) kathyh@... >From: Louis Harkins <louisharkins_4@...> > >Dear List Members, > >I have read the posts from this past week and really appreciate the >experiences that each of you have shared with our list. > >As we start summer it is my hope that each of us can experience a respite >from the stress of OCD in our family life.
