Question About Water For Making Nut Milks

I have not made nut milk yet, but hope to do so soon.

I have noticed that the recipes I see call for filtered water. I drink water

directly from the tap and it is hooked up to the refrigerator ice maker too.

Does anyone else drink tap water? If you do, is there any reason not to use it

to make nut milk?

I'm inclined to just go ahead and use the water I get from the tap and not

bother to buy special water.

What do you all think?
