Rainforests and oxygen/CO2

I wasn't talking about evergreen trees, Del, I was talking

about RAINFORESTS. These trees, and the conditions under

which they live, result in a much accelerated rate of

decomposition, and a resultant much accelerated rate of CO2

released into the atmosphere.

I don't remember off-hand the source of this information,

but it was, imho, credible - but you'll just have to decide

for yourself (as everyone does, every second of every day).
