Velda,This week the health food store where I buy the organic greens had the romaine lettuce and kale for the same price as Publix.  That's something else I have gone over to this month is organic produce when I can get it.

I can say Me too on that. I try to buy organic when I can, or at

least focus on the list of dangerous produce if eaten Non organic

and buy those organic. Fortunately my local grocery has a good

organic produce section and I have Sunflower Market and Whole Foods

within 10 miles of me. Curious though what others are paying for

Kale right now. For regular curly kale I paid $1.79 a bunch last

week.

Kale is $3.69 at Whole Foods and $3.00 at Grassroots Natural Food Store near me

for one bunch of kale. You are lucky it is so cheap where you live.

Yes, I have noticed that bunches of kale differ in amount depending on the

season.

I went to the health food store this afternoon and bought 2 bunches of kale and

weighed them. One weighed .52 pounds and the other weighed .58 pounds. I eat

at least 1/4 pound every day of greens and most days 1/2 pound - that includes

smoothies, salads, kale chips and kale crackers - my new favorite treat to eat.
