Guest guest
*****Ok....I don't understand.......My daughter gave me a cell phone for Christmas......I had it one week and I started getting at least 5 calls a day from telemarketers. None of them would give me their company name and/or telephonenumber. I voiced a few choice words and advised them that should they call me again I would file a full complaint with the FTC. ******I have unlimited calls for a base price, but the fact that I am interrupted, unnecessarily several times a day, is invading my privacy and taking my valuable time answering those calls. I have since blocked unlisted calls. I have still gotten 2 calls and have filed a complaint with the FTC on those 2 numbers. This is one battle I will take on. I don't want telemarketers jamming up my cell phone. For some folks it will be costing them in minutes to receive these calls. Enough is enough.......Home calls are one thing, but to INVADE my privacy with my cell phone is quiet another. ******Then when I get this cell phone email from another doctors list, it was a raw reminder of what was already happening. However, before I reposted it, I called the 888 number listed and went to the government website. I then realized that I hadn't put this cell number on the " do not call " list and registered my new cell with the government website. ***** Bottom-line, I THANK the person who sent this to me, as it gave me a headsUP that I had not listed the cell phone on the do not call lists. I'm sorry I cluttered your mailbox, I apologize. It will be interesting to see how many cell phone users will get harassed like me. BTW, it is relatively easy to buy unlisted lists if you have the money and know where to go buy them. ******One thing that I have been doing when I registerfor a group online, buy things on line or sign up for online newsletters who insist you give them your name and mailing addy. I register a code name I use, as I will never use my last name. Well, let me tell you, I get more junk mail addressed to this code name I use. grrrrrrrrrrrr..... IF, they send me something with a return envelope, whether it is postage paid or not, I mail it back to them. If it requires postage I mail it without postage. That seems to satisfy my needs to knock their knoggins.......ROFL ****Again, I apologize for cluttering your mailbox. BTW, my cell number is blocked when I call others, so they didn't get mine. Try calling the 888 number yourself and go to the gov. website. ****Again I'm sorry that I cluttered your mailbox, but I am grateful that I got this email, as it reminded me to list my cell number.
