Guest guest
I read an article in Nature magazine the other day that said that damp soil is a 'fertile breeding ground' for staph bacteria, and that many are increasingly resistant to antibiotics.. Many moldy homes have damp soil (crawlspace.. etc..) issues.. Maybe thats where mold-immunocompromised people pick up the staph infections? Here's the URL: http://www.nature.com/news/2006/060116/full/060116-10.html " Superbugs abound in soil: Survey of bacteria reveals an array of antibiotic-resistance.
