Hi Vivian, yes the return of socks-and-labels trouble usually means a waxing

period is coming around here too. I just wanted to say that you shouldn't

berate yourself too much in not recognizing ocd in your son when he was

younger. My daughter woke up one day having horrific obsessions, hearing

these thoughts being spoken by such a young girl was so jolting. *No*

parent could have failed to realize at that point that something was really

wrong. But if she had not had this type of onset, I can easily imagine

years going by before we were sufficiently worried to take her to a

psychiatrist or psychologist.

I'm glad you and your family are on the right track now, I'm sure the

rapport your boy has formed with the doctor will be helpful.
