Guest guest
Hi Everyone, Just wanted to post a quick update... had her 3rd IVIG infusion yesterday and it went beautifully!! I am walking on air She did not vomit, hafve difficulty breathing or feal the least bit ill this treatment, and she appeared to tolerate everything so well. Her apprehension level was diminished as a result of a very wonderful and caring nurse who has been bending over backwards for us. This wonderful person has scheduled s infusions on days at the doctors office when it is only us. Yesterday she came in on her day off . She brought crafts and movies to kill time. I was overwhelmed by her generosity. I told her she did not have to do this, but she insisted. If you will remember our first experience was not so great, and I really doubted if I could continue under those circumstances at this location. Well thanks to the guidance from this board I brought my concerns to this nurse, and she fixed everything and then some. Today I feel truly blessed to say that I can see the light at the end of a very long tunnel for the first time in ages. I would like to once again thank everyone on this board who have been so helpful and offered words of encouragement and support when I have been in such despair. I wish I could meet each of you to give you a great big hug!!!! Love and prayers, Sharon Mom to 11 Igg def 11 wife to Ken 23 years . Guest guest
You aren't the first one to have learned that lesson! Glad you are enjoying it so much! I made the sailors green smoothie last night. Today I made the bacon/potatoe/cheddar soup from the book but added cauliflower and brocoli plus a bit of Italian seasoning. Really, really good. Probably the best soup I have ever made and so quick and easy. Well received on the home front Okay, I have to fess up. I failed the initial learning curve with the soup. I turned it off to add the final bits to chop at level three and turned it back on, sans center of lid, without switching back from high. Oh well, the kitchen floors and cabinets needed a good scrub anyway. Lesson well learned, that one won't happen again. <g> it was soooooooooo good. Guest guest
LOL SJ, I was MORTIFIED. Lucky for me, the people in front of me at my booth didn't get the most of it - it arced around and the majority landed on me and my booth. Needless to say, the demo was over for a bit as I cleaned up :-) Blessings, Lea Ann Savage Satellite Beach, FL (321) 773-7088 (home) (321-961-9219 (cell) www.VitamixLady.com www..com <))>< On Mar 15, 2012, at 7:43 PM, sjc wrote: On 3/15/2012 7:37 PM, Lea Ann Savage wrote: > Yes - I redecorated a Sam's Club, my booth, and some onlookers once! Guest guest
Yummers! The Sailor smoothie is at the top of my 13yo sons' list! We even add an extra cup of spinach now I have yet to *make* soup in the vitamix, but I do my steamed broccoli and cauliflower in there. It used to take about 15 minutes to get it almost smooth in my food processor! I don't add any liquid to it at all b/c I like the full flavor. Congrats on the purchase and we know you will love it more as time goes on! Oh, sorry about the explosion!lol Sherri
Guest guest
I thought I could place a clean, dry dish cloth over the top as a substitute two days ago when the top was in the sink to be washed. Some short cut - had to wash purple smoothie off of the counters, cabinets and floor! It is a powerful machine! :-) Thanks,My Favorite Video for My Little One!
