Guest guest
You're very welcome, Lea Ann. And thank you for the additional information. Jane > > > > > > > > Lea Ann, I noticed that the VP of Sales did not refer to this machine as the Vitamix 7500. He called it the Vitamix Pro Series 750. Unless I'm mistaken, this machine looks more like an upgrade of the Vitamix Pro Series 500, which has presets, rather than an upgrade to the Vitamix 5200, which does not have presets. If the 750 is an upgrade of the Vitamix Pro Series 500, then it seems logical that the Vitamix Pro Series 750 would also have the presets, which of course it does. > > > > Can you please get a clarification for us regarding whether this machine is the latest version in the Vitamix Pro Series, or whether it's a version that will supersede the Vitamix 5200? > > > > Thanks, Lea Ann. > > > > Jane > > > > > > > >
Guest guest
Yes, that's me, lol! I did some personal snooping on this. Since I just bought my VM - inquiring minds wanted to know! What I was told, this model (Pro 750) is due to come out in May as a -Sonoma exclusive for 3 months, then everyone else will have access in Sept. There will be 2 new presets: puree and wash/clean. I was also told the base would fit my containers (5200) and this new model would just have a different flare shape container in that it would be wider above the base. When I looked closer at the video that looked to be true. For me, I've started a bit of a love affair with my VM, so I'm not sure I could return/wait till May for this. :-) Also I personally don't feel the need for the presets or the cash it would cost me, so I think I'm good. > > > > > > > > Lea Ann, I noticed that the VP of Sales did not refer to this machine as the Vitamix 7500. Guest guest
There was a comment of $649 for the pro model, but I honestly couldn't tell you if they meant the old/new or both models. I'm sure they were not speaking about the limited WS model. It was out of my price range for what I wanted to spend so didn't focus on that - sorry. > > > In your excellent detective work did you happen to get a glimpse of what the these units will sell for? > Dennis > > > From: sparkles_95130@... > Date: Thu, 22 Mar 2012 01:01:58 +0000 > Subject: Re: The NEW Model 7500 Vitamix Machine! > > Yes, that's me, lol! > > I did some personal snooping on this. Guest guest
just a piece of info I was given.. apparently if you are a subscribe to QVC as a INSIDER.. they send you a magazine with what is coming and give you the opportunity to purchase in advance of the Todays Special Values... Anyway.. she shared that the New Model would be sold on QVC toward the end of April.. price will be $439.00 but with the 5 yr warranty..she shared the photo of the unit and it looks like the New one on the video only without the pre-set buttons. That is $100 more than the same size model they have been selling with the smaller carafe. Have to wonder if just a quieter motor is worth an additional $100... that is a LOT in my household.
