I did a Google Search for "Turmeric Creamy Soup" and there were so many different flavors/options that I couldn't pick just one, so I thought I'd share the search…http://www.google.com/search?client=safari & rls=en & q=turmeric+creamy+soup & ie=UTF-8 & oe=UTF-8Anyone want to try one of these and report back to us? :-)

That sends me thinking of a VM soup with a Indian flair (coconut

milk, pepper and tumeric and veggies). Anyone got any thoughts?

I wouldn't think it would taste good in a Green Smoothie.

Turmeric is better absorbed with black pepper and milk. Here is

a Google Search for Turmeric, Black Pepper, Milk:

The second link looked interesting (the second one in the google

search), however, I believe my sources only have turmeric powder,

not turmeric root. Would have to figure that out, because the soup

looks interesting.

Yes, I put tumeric and ginger in my smoothies. One teaspoon of organic tumeric

which you can buy at whole foods or Trader Joes.

It blends nicely and is virtually indetectable. The ginger adds a pit of punch.

I put a thumb nail piece. Lu

Yes, I put Turmeric in every morning smoothie. I have it in a squeeze bottle (like honey or ketchup bottle) right beside the machine. I do not measure, just put a squirt of the powder in. I did not want to try to spoon

it in every time as it colors everything it touches. I do not notice any taste from it but I have a lot of different flavors in my smoothies.

Thanks Lu, I have powdered tumeric, so will give it a try. I often put a

hunk of ginger in smoothies. You are right, too much gives quite a kick.
