I buy my quinoa (white) at a local co-op; it is not sprouted. I usually cook mine in water as opposed to vegetable or chic broth (it can be added to more dishes this way). I don't believe mine needs to be soaked, in fact, this weekend I completely forgot to soak it and it cooked up fine. The virtues of quinoa are numerous. It tastes slightly nutty and adds wonderful texture to smoothies. O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
