I just received my Vitamix 5200 yesterday. I made my first green smoothie today from the cook book ... is it really suppose to taste this good????

This topic comes up fairly often, but it is EASY to reduce the noise by just placing the base on a neoprene computer mousepad or even a dish towel. The boxes that are used on TV demos are hard to come by. I find the mousepad reduces the noise dramatically.
