cream of rice cereal

I got my dry container the other day and I made cream of rice cereal using

Vitamix recipe in the Whole Grains cookbook today. The recipe calls for 1/2 cup

of white rice and 2 cups of water. The Vitamix did a wonderful job of

processing the rice a perfect consistency after the recommended mix of 10

seconds. The recipe then calls for you to put the processed rice into 2 cups of

boiling water and cook for 8 to 10 minutes. At the end of 9 minutes I found the

rice cooked but a little too dry for my taste. I added some skim milked to make

it the consistency I liked.
