Guest guest
I know many people have already said this, but this just isn't true. I do not have a Kindle and I am not a Prime Member and I get them for free. I have gotten all the recent books mentioned here for free. Guest guest
wow.. are you using a SITE to access it ? . as I go directly to Amazon ...... hmmmm then wonder why this is occurring for me. When it discussed it with Amazon help desk this is what they told me. she said it won't work if you use the Kindle apps.only with a registerd Kindle unit. and that is what I am finding.. I am a long time PRIME member so cant' imagine why I am having this issue. > > > Apparently per Amazon. being a Prime member doesn't give you access to those > > free books but rather you have to have a Kindle device registered and then be > > a Prime member for those books to be available. Guest guest
No, I go to Amazon and get it from there. I use the free Kindle apps. I have had that on my iPad for a few years. I get the free daily offers, I also get all the free books they have that are classics/out of copyright. Wish I could help more! Guest guest
Do you get the announcement from Amazon? Maybe it's Kindle Prime users that get the announcement. I have a Kindle but I actually don't use it anymore but use my iPad to read Kindle books. I'm not sure if I get the announcement or not. It might go into my junk file. terry On Mar 31, 2012, at 2:20 PM, son wrote: > I know many people have already said this, but this just isn't true. Guest guest
The Prime advantage is for free book rentals and to rent a book you have to place it on an actual Kindle and not an app or reader. If you are a Prime member and have a Kindle you can rent a book once a month after you returned a book you have rented before. If you see a price in the Buy button it is not free. The Kindle Owners' Lending Library gives you access to thousands of books, including New York Times Best Sellers, to borrow and read for free. · Borrow a book as frequently as once per month · No due dates - keep books as long as you like and return them when it's time for something new · Read on any Amazon Kindle device If borrowing is something you really want to do you can buy a Kindle for as little as $79. Guest guest
I am not signed up to get the announcements as I already get too much mail and don't want to be on another mailing list, but have gotten all the books listed here in the last few days. I can also go to the free book section and get the books from there if I want to go browsing W On 3/31/12 12:36 PM Terry Pogue wrote: > Do you get the announcement from Amazon? Guest guest
I am just going through my mail and still have 350 to go so not sure if this has been answered yet. You don't have to have a Kindle to get the free books. Just install the free Kindle app on your computer or Ipad or even cell phone. There is a site called Pixle of Ink that will send you a daily email with the free books. You have to get them that day as they usually go back to full price. You don't have to be a member of Amazon Prime. I also get the daily Pixel of Ink Youth edition that has books for children and young adults. They have the cover of the books plus a synopsis so you can see if it's something you want to read. I have gotten tons of cookbooks and good books. When you click on the book it will take you to your Amazon account page (you do have to have an Amazon account). There you need to check and make sure the book is still free. It will say Kindle price $0.00. Sometimes it says you have to have Amazon Prime and it will give a price if you don't have it. Just be careful before clicking to purchase it. Here is the website. You will have to join. http://www.pixelofink.com/ Debbie in SW Florida

Guest guest
For free Kindle books, this is what I've given new Kindle owners in my community (they always ask me questions about it). I compiled the list last year, when several people told me they were getting Kindles for Christmas. Lately, I've found eReaderIQ to be the best search tool. eBooks for KindlePhoenix library:-- http://phoenix.lib.overdrive.comRSS feeds (and other sources) for free and bargain eBooks: -- http://blog.booksontheknob.org-- http://dailycheapreads.com-- http://www.pixelofink.com -- http://kindlenationdaily.com/-- http://inkmesh.com/free-ebooks/?site=kindle -- http://www.ereaderiq.com/free/ -- http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Main_Page-- http://www.mobileread.com/forums/ebooks.php?forumid=128 On Tue, Apr 3, 2012 at 5:44 AM, beachbums <BeachBumsLandD@...> wrote: I am just going through my mail and still have 350 to go so not sure if this has been answered yet.
