Container has water spots. Help

Hi all - I bought my vita mix in December from Costco. A few weeks ago some

water spots formed on the container and they won't come off. I use my vitamix

everyday to make berry smoothies and I clean it everyday using the method

recommended as soon as I as I'm done masking my smoothie. (a drop of soap and

some water and blend clean and then I rinse with water until clean).

I have tried to scrub the spots and they won't come off. I'm pretty bummed

because this +$400 blender looks like crap now and I'm afraid it's only going to

get worse. My wif no longer want to leave it in my counter when guest come.

The spots are stubbron any suggestions?
