Guest guest Posted April 2, 2012 Report Share Posted April 2, 2012 I think the chiles you have are far to hot for this kind of sauce. I make chile sauce a lot for Mexican dishes or southwestern food. I was raised in San , TX. I'd crumble them and used them in any recipe calling for crushed pepper. Or put one or two in a bottle of vinegar for a flavored vinegar. No place has it Like our good Tex-Mex. I grew up in Houston but have been here in San since 1960. This is home. I take advantage of eating Mexican food real often.
