On the links page /links there is a post titled, " Seeds Stems Leaves and Skins you can use… " It isn't a comprehensive list, but has some good info... Guest guest Posted April 20, 2012 Report Share Posted April 20, 2012 Mango peel contains urushiol, which is the same chemical found in poison ivy and poison sumac that causes rashes and in some cases respiratory issues. Eating the skin can cause negative reactions especially for people who have shown allergic reactions to poison ivy and such.
