Guest guest
Jade why don't you let it go. Please for gods sake let it go already, Patty is upset enough, you don't know anything about all the trials she has been through and how damned hard it is to run a site like this. If your so unhappy here, maybe this is not the site for you, if you cannot let this go, it shows that your not really here to help anyone anyhow. WE ALL HAVE OUR OPINIONS, they are just that, opinions. I base my opinions on my experience, and secondly on the information I have and the numbers of happy patients and photos that I have viewed. Based on these facts, I have to say that in my opinion I feel Dr Feng is one of the best, to me the best because she is the one I went to. She may not be the best to you, because you did not go to her, and for you your Dr is the best, that is fine, we all have a right to our own opinions. Please ladies can't we just agree to disagree, or do we have to keep this arguing going on.It is not helping anything or anyone. I for one would like some peace on this group. your not helping my continueing to argue. It serves no purpose. Attack me if you want, orwhat I have said, I don't care. I only speak my heart. Guest guest
> Jade why don't you let it go. I thought I had let it go until you decided to open it up again! My last post was a reasonable suggestion that might ensure peace on this list and for an even better way to help women in need by giving them facts. > WE ALL HAVE OUR OPINIONS, Of course! It's when you give your opinion in the guise of a fact that deception, intentional or accidental, occurs. IMO giving opinions that sound like facts is reckless especially when women who are scared, stressed and feeling desperate might make a vital decision based on an opinion that is disguised as a fact. > I have to say that in my opinion > I feel Dr Feng is one of the best, to me the best because she is the > one I went to. PERFECT! That statement is very clearly based on your feelings and not scientific fact or studies. " Dr. Feng is the best doctor for... " Is an opinion disguised as fact. There is a HUGE difference. > She may not be the best to you, because you did not go > to her, and for you your Dr is the best, that is fine, we all have a > right to our own opinions. See, I can't say that my doctor is the best because I don't know of any study that supports that claim. I CAN say that I like him very much and he did a good job for me. I CAN say that many of the nurses at the hospital use him for their surgery and that seems to be positive. I CAN say that he has done ### explant surgeries. BUT I can't say he is the BEST because I have no basis for comparison and nothing with which to back up that claim. The bottom line for me is not that every woman go to the same doctor I went to. Rather, it's trying to ease the way for women to find a doctor that makes this surgery doable. If you go back through my posts, you will find where I told a woman about Dr. Melvin who is in Washington near where she is. I did not recommend him but I directed her to a place where she could find more information about her. If I had led her to believe that they ONLY place she could find a competent surgeon is in Dallas, the travel expense and inconvenience involved might have prohibited her in getting the surgery. It's more important to me that women get help from one of the MANY qualified surgeons than that they go to " MY DOCTOR " . One reason I feel strongly about this is because, when I first decided that I needed explant surgery, I was getting sick, I didn't have a job, I had no money, I had no insurance and my husband had just left me on a broken down farm way out in the country with a special needs child and no one to help. Every where I turned, people were telling me that the ONLY doctor who could get all the silicone out and leave me with a pleasing result was VERY FAR from where I live. I just felt the situation was completely hopeless! Finally, I found a skilled, experienced doctor that was actually near me! If I hadn't found a doctor near my I certainly wouldn't have been able to have explant surgery for a very long time. , I know that you speak from your heart I just don't think you should be so aggresive with your OWN agenda. Guest guest
I agree, its hard to drop when it keeps coming up again with lengthy posts. ! I have heard many sad things and bad experiences with all the ps's (LM was the first time though I heard anything of Huang, not to say I don't believe her) and great outcomes, more so-as well. Yes, Even Dr Feng. I went to her for consult, and also had a negative experience in which I chose not to go to her based on several issues. Glad I didn’t. But Im not going to go on about why I feel Dr Kolb "is the best." She was in my situation, and I couldn’t be happier. Isnt this why we have this group, to have access to all the recommended doctors that we can choose from to suit and tailor to our individual needs? They are all good, and not perfect. Ever. No doctor is above the other. Who says? How can that statement ever be. Its based on one experience. Please. I think that we are lucky to have such a grand group of Ps's here that in most situation do a great job. Period. Re: Patti - Recommending Doctors > Jade why don't you let it go.
