I need a small amount of this and when standing in front of an enormous

bottle in the store decided this was the " ah ha " moment and I could make it

myself.

I went to the recipe files but don't see oils. Am I missing them, or is

there a general recipe to follow?

Many thanks,

W

The only way I would know to make peanut oil would be to make peanut butter then let it stand until the oil rises.

Thank you Lea Ann. Looking at recipes you seem to be (surprise surprise!)

right.

You need a special press with heat to make oils. I am allergic to peanuts and have never made peanut oil, but I do make sunflower oil. I like Lea Ann's idea-let the oil rise from peanut butter, but it won't be the right type of oil for frying, like most peanut oil is-that is made from raw peanuts.Sent from my iPadOn Mar 27, 2012, at 6:21 PM, Lea Ann Savage <lsavage@...> wrote:
