Guest guest
After you are explanted -- do your breasts go back to the shape they once were? Or, when given a lift ~ can the surgeon give them a different shape???

Guest guest
No, they're enlarged b/c of tissue skinb being stretched out. Many PSs I have consulted with recommend a VERTICAL mastopexy (lift) to correct ptosis of the breast( sagging). This is needed most of the time or you'll most likely be saggy afterwards.PACCOAST@... wrote: After you are explanted -- do your breasts go back to the shape they once were? Guest guest
Yes, that is what Dr. Huang did for my daughter, and years later she still has beautiful, well-matched breasts. She was very happy with this surgery. Lynda At 12:29 PM 6/18/2004, you wrote: >No, they're enlarged b/c of tissue skinb being stretched out. Or, when given a lift ~ can the surgeon give them a different shape??? Sometime they go back to the shape and size they were before implant. It depends on how large your implants are, how elastic your skin is, how much weight you have gained and how many children you have had and nursed. I had explant surgery 5 weeks ago and I had an internal lift at the same time. My doctor did change the shape of my breasts and I only have a small incision scar over each nipple. They look much better than they EVER have in my whole life! You can go to the photo section and look at my pictures in the folder labeled Jade.
