1) TV Episode Regarding Tourette Synrome

In an upcoming episode of the show " 7th Heaven " , Tourette Syndrome will be

the focus of the story line. National TSA provided technical and script

input to the writers, and we have every reason to believe that the program

will be not only entertaining and uplifting, but accurate in its portrayal

of a youngster with TS.

Air date: Monday, February 7th

2) Scholarship opportunity

The following scholarship notice came to the attention of National TSA last

week. Although it has a very short deadline, we wanted to make you aware

of it. Final Deadline: February 15, 2000

Bank of America Requests Scholarship Applications from Students

with Disabilities

The Bank of America is currently calling for applications from

students

with disabilities as part of its ADA Abilities Scholarships

Program. The

purpose of this program is to encourage individuals with

disabilities to

pursue their educational goals; to build a base of trained,

skilled workers

for a future workforce; and to increase community awareness of the

commitment of Bank of America has made to the employment of

persons

with disabilities. Applicants must be high school seniors, high

school

graduates, or college students, and must plan to attend college

in the fall

of 2000 with a goal of earning an undergraduate academic or

technical

degree or certificate.
