Guest guest
The Red Cross is no longer accepting any " in-kind " (that means stuff) donations. All they need right now is $$$ donations. However your local homeless shelter, or women's shelter is always looking for small size toiletries. HTH Heidi OT-Red Cross Relief > Does anyone know if they (RC) is going to be willing to take toiletry items, either handmade or store purchased, to help with relief efforts? I guess i could call, i just need to find that info that was posted. > I figured i would go through my baskets full of soaps etc and put them aside (since they are just sitting here) and perhaps toss in a majority of the goodies i got in swaps as they are one: taking up two drawers in my bathroom so i won't be able to use them all; i hope someone else can use the stuff while they are unable to get back to their homes etc...would that be atacky at all? sending homemade toiletry items? I just don't know how else to help when money is tight over here too... > > We do not blame communities for the acts of individuals... " 09/11/01 Author UnknownGet more from the Web.
