I know the company is okay. I use coconut oil for quite a few things such as

baking and frying (in moderation). It is a fat but a medium chain triglyceride

which means the body handles it a bit differently. I order mine from

vitacost.com. Make sure you get organic and virgin. Vitacost brand is great and

reasonable. You will also be able to read the reviews.

http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/this is a source we have used in the past including meat, tallow and lard. Expensive on the shipping but quality products. The fats we rendered came out nice. Have since found a enough local farmers for our meat/fat needs but this is still a good web site for quality coconut products. vitacost usually has quality too as already suggested and their prices are typically great and free shipping for over $50 (most of the time - ask when you order if they are running any specials).
