Guest guest
Nutritionist, Ann Louise Gittleman, in her book, 'Your Body Knows Best' (Simon & Shuster, NY, 1996) recommends BOTH the blood type diet plan and a diet based on whether one is a fast or slow oxidizer. A Type A who should be vegetarian may also be a fast oxidizer and fast oxidizers should not be vegetarians. In my own case, Type A and Fast Oxid., I do not do well on a strict vegetarian diet. The oxidation rate, i.e., the rate at which one burns or metabolizes food is an important consideration in my experience. BTW - the book has some simple questionnaires which can help you determine if you are a fast or slow oxidizer. If anyone is interested, I will post those questionnaires here.
