My new Vitamix should arrive today. I've bought a pineapple to make a smoothie.

Is it possible to blend the pineapple peel or should I remove it first? I know

that the core is good for you.

Hello Marguerite,The peel can easily be blended by the Vitamix - BUT it Tastes BAD (and is hard to clean) so I leave it out :-)
