Guest guest
Thanks for the feedback so far. I have, recently, talked with my doctors about buying a scooter. What they suggest is, as long as I am able to walk most places, I hold off. I have used wheelchairs for situations like DisneyWorld and such. I don't know the situation in Anchorage where we will spend a couple of days and I don't know the situation in Denali where we will spend a couple of days. I really don't think I will need a scooter on board the ship, but would like to know what others think. It is one of the Celebrity ships, the Summit. I really don't want the hassle of transporting a scooter on this trip. I wear AFOs, will have a pair in my suitcase, use a cane and will have birding optics to carry on. I figure with all this hardware and security measures, I'll have to be at the airport a day early, just to get through security checkpoints in time to catch our flight! (lol) If anyone has further feedback, I would appreciate that. Thanks again for your help. Jim
