I hear ya Eileen :-) Someone had posted to the list a while back asking about sources for covers for the Vitamix, and Voila - someone sent me this link today!

LOL that is what I thought too. I've only had my Vitamix a week and it hasn't sat unused long enough for a cover.

Just joking I could see putting one on it overnight. That would be for me that I'd need to take my container and lid out of the dish drainer. I let it dry there overnight and start again the next day.

few days with friends - I had to bring it with me.

i have purchased this cover from this vendor and was very pleased with my

" customized " cover [black with red trim]......i fold the bottom up inside and

cover the vitamix base and keep canisters in a cupboard.

ps in this way i can store the base under the hanging kitchen cabinet [wouldn't

fit with the canister]. admittedly, i'm not a vitamix power user like may of

you.
