Isn't that just the BEST?! My daughter used to take great pride in telling her

teachers that she ate ice cream for breakfast. Who knows what the teachers

thought of me, but I KNEW she had a healthy, nutrient based start to her day

that she WANTED to eat! Most of our ice creams are pumpkin based, and super

nutritious. Good on you for getting that little girl sidetracked with some

wholesome goodness!

Hi there!   Can u please share some of your pumpkin or really any of your ice cream recipes?  I am very new to my vitamix & the combinations I try without a recipe are not ones my children will eat.  They r losing patience!  :-)

Thank you!

My recipes are in the files section here in the group-super easy! How old are

your children? Getting them INVOLVED in the process of making things is a great

way to get kids to eat things they wouldn't normally eat, and getting them to

eat ice cream or popsicles made from just about anything works a charm, lol!

I think , you and your daughter ought to write a book on nutrition

from both points of view with recipes such as your pumpkin ice cream for

breakfast. I am quite sure it would sell well to Mom's everywhere who

are struggling to get good nutrition into a generation of children who

are hit from practically birth on by advertising from fast food stores

of all sorts.

Thanks, Velda. We have actually thought about it, but now that my daughter just

got her driver license, all I see of her is her taillights, lol. Not sure I can

pin her down long enough! WOW, all I did was blink and my little girl grew up!

Thanks for posting this! I will be whirling this one up this weekend. I am

always looking for ways to get more broccoli in my diet and that of my

husband's. Ice cream for lunch -- great for kids and adults!

Do you VM the spinach with liquid ingredients before adding frozen, or

does it get chopped smooth enough not to be noticeable in the normal

processing of the frozen? e
