Chocolate-Banana Wontons

Weight Watchers Recipe

Serves: 6

The time-honored combination of sugar-sweet bananas and creamy chocolate provide the filling for this mouthwatering dessert

Ingredients

2 spray(s) butter-flavour cooking spray

1 large banana(s), diced

6 Tbsp mini chocolate chips

24 item(s) wonton wrapper(s), half of a 12 oz package

1 Tbsp powdered sugar

InstructionsPreheat oven to 350ºF. Coat a large baking sheet with cooking spray.In a medium bowl, combine banana and chocolate chips; mix gently.Place wonton wrappers on a flat surface. Drop banana mixture by teaspoonfuls onto center of each wrapper. Moisten edges of wrapper with wet fingers, fold over one corner to make a triangle and press sides together to seal. Transfer filled wrappers to prepared baking sheet and coat surface with cooking spray.Bake until wontons are golden brown, about 10 to 12 minutes. Sift powdered sugar over wontons before serving. Yields 4 wontons per serving.

I was shocked to see this recipe as I am on Weight Watchers and have seen this on their site before. I made something with Wonton's last week and have leftovers and the rest of the ingredients. Thank you so much for recipe. I will be making these.

They feel like you are cheating but no.. just some fruit and a very little

chocolate. One family member likes the dark chocolate so I make some with that

as well as some with milk chocolate..

One asked for peanut butter so I just added a dab and it was perfect

flavoring. ...

I wonder if I could use another fruit such as diced strawberries, since

I am allergic to Bananas?

Hmmm that is a good idea.. but maybe a little thickener so it doesn't just seep

all out when baking..I bet if we thought about it we could come up with some

neat ingredients.

cheese wontons or using Jam in them the are like Houdini they makes all sorts

of wonderful mini things.. We made lasagna cups( put the wonton in a Muffin pan

like a CUP ) one time again w leftovers from a pasta meal.
