Guest guest
..... I use the wonton wrappers and egg roll wrapper( which are larger) for all sorts of things.. One fav is to make butternut squash ravioli's... and potato cheese pierigo's.. since the insides stuffing is always cooked it just take minutes to quickly boil them I have a ton of recipes that makes all sorts of egg roll type things you can use just about anything in them.. Spray w a little oil and bake.. last time we made BBQ pulled pork I had a sm amt left not really enough to make much with .. so I use a sm tsp of meat with a raw coleslaw mix and rolled it and baked.. it..Everyone LOVED those BBQ rolls. and they are all baked not fried. Great way to use up sm amts of left overs > > Wow, I did not know you can bake Won Tons! Guest guest
One of our FAVS is a filling of herb seasoned fresh ricotta into which I make a little depression. Drop an egg into that depression, put the top wonton or egg roll skin on top, seal and put into gently boiling/ simmering water, a few minutes and it's an elegant dish. When you cut into it the egg yolk helps create the sauce. I make a large raviolo, one per person. Terry Sent from my iPadHD On May 3, 2012, at 9:10 AM, " crenita2 " <crenita@...> wrote: > ....
