Guest guest
, I contacted the Helios people (the owner). He required $4,500.00 up front and leaves the insurance problem up to you. I heard he had lost his licence at one time, but that might be a rumor. Dave
Guest guest
and Dave, I talked to him once, but the cost $9,000.00 was way too much. He's at least controversial. My orthotist knew about him and really didn't say anything bad about him but said the cost was crazy. I think there are some other braces now that are very similar. Guest guest
To Dave, , and , I know the owner of the Helios system, he has never lost his license, and my orthotist did not think the price was too much money, based on what some plastic braces cost. I think you are confusing him with other orthotist making copycat braces. You should be careful not to spread false rumors. Wayne
Guest guest
I would think at $9,000.00 vs $1,200.00, what my AFOs cost with ankle joints, the price for his AFOs are way too high. There are similar systems out there that cost far less. I was impressed with what he said when I talked to him but the cost was way too much.
