Re: the Chat/managing cold weather

Hi all,

I really enjoyed the chat last night. I wanted to say I'm sorry for leaving

so quickly. My PC froze up on me (been doing that a lot lately) and by the

time I rebooted my attention was needed elsewhere. I am always up for a chat.

Weekends are great for me also.

As far as the cold. I'm born and bred in Upstate NY but have never liked the

cold. Even if I can get from car to work without slipping and falling in the

parking lot, the frigidly cold weather we have makes walking unbearable. Now

I know why people go south for the winters.

I too was there and it was fun to watch even if I only post a few times. We did

hit 10 people at one time. Did it get any bigger after I left approx 10:15EST.

I too had my attention distracted.

Elaina, I am from Hamilton, ON, Canada and I hate the winter mostly for the ice

that you can slip and fall on. It seems that with me, since my knee muscles are

weak as soon as my leg/foot starts to slip my knee begins to dislocate. I have

had problem for years and it is one of my largest fears especially when carrying

a baby/child.

Gretchen, are you able to keep a copy of the chat and post in the files. I

think there was some good stuff that came out of the chat. Not sure if people

want to keep it? I too would be up for nother try.
