Guest guest
Welcome Dawn, and thank you for introducing yourself. Some of us (like me) aren't affected by weather, although I prefer warm, dry weather like we have here (So. Cal) and in the equatorial islands I visit (in their winter season = no rain!) You asked if you should tell prospective employers about your CMT. I can only share my experience. I was in museum exhibition design and administration, then moved on into fundraising, among other careers. Not once did I mention I had CMT and there was no need to. It was a non-issue. You can still be kind and caring in a counseling position without having to mention you have CMT. If you're going into fundraising, I would not mention it either. It is an incredibly demanding field and also can be a dirty one. On the other hand, if you need flex hours or special equipment, etc., well then, it is a given you would need to mention it or if you are involved in the " Ticket to Work Program " of Social Security's. Hope you enjoy the group. Gretchen
