Guest guest
Thanks for giving us the recipe for the vegetable broth powder. That's a keeper! It also reminds me of a broth powder recipe I learned from the Adventist community when I became vegetarian some 30 years ago: Vegetarian " Chicken " Broth Powder 1 1/3 cups nutritional yeast flakes 3 Tablespoons onion powder 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 1/2 Tablespoons salt (or less, if you prefer) 1 teaspoon celery seed 1 1/2 Tablespoons Italian or poultry seasoning (without salt) 2 Tablespoons dried parsley Mix together everything except the parsley and blend until smooth. Then stir in parsley. Store in airtight container. Use 1 teaspoon per cup of water or to taste for broth. Sherry in Oregon
Guest guest
What a great idea. I never would have thought of that. It sounds like a lot of preparation though. Today I made some walnut, coconut milk. Wonderful!! Really tasty. Thought I'd try something different from my almond milk. Janet

Guest guest
Hi, What exactly IS nutritional yeast? Is it a whole food; what is it derived from?
