Guest guest
Do you like dill? I didn't grow up eating dill and only recently acquired a taste for it. If you' don't like it in other foods, and aren't feeling adventurous, skip the dill. Regarding kale. I put two leaves in (without stems since I didn't know you could eat them) with strong coffee, raw milk, and ice. I have added a teaspoon of sugar, but also have had it without. I can't taste the kale at all although the smoothie is a telltale greenish color. I would recommend try adding kale again, but try it with something with a strong taste (coffee s a good example) and maybe just add one leaf. It's so super good for you, and i would be very surprised if you could taste the kale. Just a suggestion, Aloha, mirthfullady > > It is in that Green Smoothie Diet book.. that used Dill in the mix with greens and fruit > Has anyone ever tried DILL in their smoothies..?? > > I have a need to vary my current and standing smoothie mix.. and wanted to try some other things as we approach the summer months in the USA when we get all those great fruits and veggies.but don't wnat to repeat my KALE experience..which has successfully turned me off of using Kale in my smoothies. > > Any idea's..? >
Guest guest
I love dill and use it often. The only thing about dill is if you chop it too finely it feels gritty on the tongue. I have to watch that for I get going with my chefs knife mincing and can get carried away with dill.
