scared at first by CMT diagnosis

Hello Gretchen and Kelli,

It is scarry when you first find out that you have CMT. I was 28 when I first

found out. I was mad because the doc said I had a 50/50 chance of ending up in a

wheelchair. I said " that would be the day " . I use one only for long distance

walking such as theme parks, malls, etc. However for every day activities I try

to use my muscles and keep walking. I have 5 children to keep me busy!!
