if diet were as simple as keeping alkaline, then alot of sick people would be

well right now. and arnold ehret would have lived a much longer life. as jim

pointed out once with vegetables one may be experiencing a cleansing reaction

and not an allergic reation. this same holds true for ketogenic-type diets--

if you limit flour and sugar. my body has kicked out many many pounds of old

putrefied fecal matter while eating a high meat/fat diet. in my experience

the impacted matter is orders of magnitudes more acid than the meat that i

eat. also, it is important to remember that in a meat based diet, the fat is

equally important or more important. i don't know the science of it. if we

are talking about primitive carnivores-- then we must realize that it wasn't

just muscle meat they were eating. i believe that the organ meats were eaten

as well. raw blood is alkaline. i don't know the ph of brains. i don't think

it is as simple as -- eat alkaline --> become alkaline. god only knows the

alchemical things that happen when foods are digested and made a part of us.

personally, i would love to be a vegetarian. vegetables just look so

wholesome and clean. my reality is that i am recovering from serious illness

while eating lots of fatty meats, butter, cream, fish, fruits, water, and

limited vegetables.

i do have a friend who is a vegetarian and recovered from serious illness as

well. he seems to be more spiritually minded than me.
