Guest guest
Lea Ann, there is big news here in Ca about 's financial troubles (laying off 2000 people), so we may have more trouble to come. It is up to ALL of us to help by doing exactly as you suggest: be careful, don't respond to or open suspicious emails, and esp for new people, be patient, Lea Ann and crew are doing the best they can with the fact that more and more people are finding their computers invaded and taken over and being used as " bots " . If an email lacks a subject line, or sounds strange, or contains links without reasonable explanation from people you have seen post before, or if the email address looks strange, don't respond, don't click, simply be patient and wait for Lea Ann to take care of it. Guest guest
THANK YOU VELDA for this good advice! (how to spot Spam :-) I can't prevent it from going to those who get " individual email " , but I can remove it from the list and " moderate " the sender. As you said, the owner of the email address who sent the spam is not likely the real spammer - just the unfortunate victim of a bot attack.
