Guest guest
Welcome Donna. I had foot surgery (both feet at the same time) - on tendons, when I was 10 years old. I am 52 now and must say that surgery has sure lasted a long time and helped me tremendously. Even then we had two doctors opinions. I spent 6 weeks in hard casts, followed by maybe 6 weeks of physical therapy. A small price to pay for the lifetime my feet have given me so far. My surgery was done by an orthopedic surgeon who specialized only in feet, and children's feet at that. He was the one who originally diagnosed me with CMT.
