Guest guest
I've been drinking a daily green smoothie every morning for about the last 6 months now, that is unless I have to drive somewhere far soon afterward (it's like drinking 3 gallons of water - have to 'go' every 10 minutes for an hour!). I drink the entire smoothie at once but it usually my breakfast and lunch. Have lost about 40 lbs in the last 6 months. Still eat semi bad for dinner and almost always have some kind of unhealthy late night snack. After 45 years of eating terribly, taking baby steps.... Lately been using: 1 small apple 1 banana couple cubes of pineapple splash of cherry juice a couple handfuls of kale* 2 cups of frozen spinach sometimes through in a couple frozen blueberries and a frozen strawberry or two My question is about the kale, after rinsing it, I strip the leafy part from the stems - should I be leaving the stems on? I see the stems are in the frozen spinach. Thanks! Jeff
Guest guest
Thanks Lee Ann, I meant to give you credit in my post for the base of the smoothie I'm drinking, it was from one of your posts a while back. Thanks Again, Jeff > > I've been drinking a daily green smoothie every morning for about the last 6 months now, that is unless I have to drive somewhere far soon afterward (it's like drinking 3 gallons of water - have to 'go' every 10 minutes for an hour!).
