Hi Gretchen,

Thanks for giving the opportunity the join your group. The information are so

helpful.

About the walking assistance, I have to go to the regular doctor or no wait I

have an appointment with the Orthopedic surgeon who gave me Diclofenac and B

complex injection treatment in order to help improve the polyneuropathy.

I will ask him about what kind of assistance I need. The regular doctor doesn't

do that much for me in that kind of

situations.

About the water therapy that sounds wonderful, but do you know what

is very strange.

A few years ago it started. When I go to swim, living on an island that is so

wonderful, because we are in the tropics...:) when I'm about 15 min in water I

have such a bad cramping at both hands, so painful and at my belly, where I had

surgery a few years ago and at both feet. Since then I have that severe cramping

each time I go to swim. Do you have any info about that?

Smiles,

Xiomi ****Xiomi, what I know is from personal experience about being in the

water - pools are very different from the ocean. Perhaps the ocean is too much

for you at this point in time; or perhaps you cannot handle the resistance of

the current. Your muscles may just be too weak for the ocean.~ Gretchen

> Hi pals. Have u ever tried this? Taking 5litres of water every

day!!!? Take one litre, one hour before every meal. It is tough in the

begining but you will get used to it. You can start slowly with maybe

one litre and then build up to 5litres. You will be surprised at the

effect it is going to have on you. It will detoxify your body, remove

your stresses, also make you sleep like a baby and remove your

indigestion problems!! Amazing? This is called water therapy. Try it.

Actually, a quart is .946 of a liter. The other way around. C R

and group;

I am so sorry the water could not help you.. Yes there could be an

uder lying problem that is making you cold... I have no idea what

they may be and I have seen a lot of the group has sent post on that

subject...

I want to try the water to for my RA but can't afford a 5x swimming

suit yet... I hope when I do I don't feel that cold also... I see

Barbara would get to cold for water therapy also,,, so it's not

uncommon...

I love swimming I went swimming most of my life in Ohio.. We had a

recreation center that provided an inside pool for free... The center

provided an elderly exercising group... I was the youngest one there

at the time.. I would go every week two and three times a week up

untill I moved to S.C. 11 years ago... I didnt get cold but I didnt

have RA than... It would be a foot of snow outside to...

Water is so easy on the joints too... One could move with the

greatest of ease in the water... Yes I would agree with Barbara that

being cold in or out of the water defeats the purpose for RA

therapy.. I wish I could tell you why it is doing this to you... I

pray that you find out and can go back in the water... God bless and

take care..

gentle hugs

Clora
